The HT4550i 4K home theater projector is equipped with a bright 4-element LED lamp (4LED) that delivers a maximum brightness of up to 3200 ANSI lumens. By using separate lighting elements for each of the primary colors (red, green and blue), the projector does not need a color wheel. This should minimize the RBE (rainbow effect) present on some DLP based projectors. Each projector comes with its own calibration report to guarantee 100% Rec.709 Delta E<3 and full grayscale tracking within Delta E<2 with an optimized Rec.709 colormap for true Hollywood colors. Of course, for calibration to mean anything, you’ll need to pair with the same screen that BenQ used, but at least you know the particular device you’re buying is up to factory specifications.

The HT4550i includes a Google-certified Android TV adapter, so you’ll find Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and all your other favorite streaming services on board. The key is controlled by the projector’s remote control.
